Course description

Expiry date: July 1, 2023

MRI Spectroscopy Basics is a continuing education course designed to present radiologic technologists with an overview of the principles of MR spectroscopy imaging, its different applications, and its importance as a supplement to MRI for research and medical diagnosis. In this course, you will learn the physical principles, measurements techniques, and quantification methods of proton MRS imaging. The course also covers the clinical applications of MRI spectroscopy, its ability to provide improved characterization of tissues in both normal and pathological states, and discusses specific considerations in different pathologies. MRI Spectroscopy Basics is a suitable course for MRI technologists who need a refresher on MR spectroscopy protocols and technologists who are cross-training into MRI.

Please note: Cardiac MRI is an advanced online course that is not suitable for radiologic technologists who are cross training into MRI.
