Our MRI Safety training course, accredited for 5 CE credits, is designed to provide the learner with a more in-depth understanding of the importance of safety in and around the MRI environment. This course is designed to provide the learner with a more in-depth understanding of the importance of safety in and around the MRI environment. In addition, you will learn about the risks associated with MRI and methods employed to minimize these risks. You will also develop an understanding of the risk assessment process that is used to identify and mitigate the risks associated with MRI.

Some of the topics covered in the course include: risks associated with the magnet, radiofrequencies, quenches, SAR levels, foreign bodies and contrast media, risk assessment processes, government agencies and the role they play in safety, and the employee/employer role in MRI safety. This training course is suitable for radiologic technologists of any modality who work in facilities with an MRI environment, whether you need CE credits in MRI safety specifically, or if you just want to expand your knowledge.
